Frequently asked questions.
How long does it take for my piece to arrive?
Open Edition Prints will take 5-10 business days while original Oil Paintings take 7-14 business days. How should I care for my oil painting?
Never lean the front or back surface of a stretched canvas on a pointed or sharp object, no matter how small, it will leave a dent that will disfigure your work. Dust your artwork frequently and never expose your painting to extreme heat, extreme cold, or to extreme humidity. Too much sunlight can fade the colors so just be aware of that when choosing a place for your piece. For more info & best practices click here.
Should my art be centered on the wall or over furniture?
It is usually more ideal to center your piece relative to the furniture—not necessarily the wall. What type of art should I collect?
Choose what you love over choosing something to match the pillows. If you can find a complement to the space, that’s great! However, you want art that speaks to you and makes you want to keep staring at it. What size should I aim for?
It all depends on the space you’re working with. Use the guide below to help you out:8x10" or 11x14" — Ideal for shelves, gallery walls, or small nooks
16x20" or 18x24" — Work well in pairs, on narrow walls, or above small furniture24x36", 24x48" or 30x40" — Great for making a statement above a sofa, bed, or focal wall36x48"+ — Best for large walls, high ceilings, or anchoring a spacious room
What’s a good height to hang wall art?
Place the center of the artwork about 5 feet from the floor. If it's above furniture, 6–10 inches above the top edge works well.
